Dark Eyed Sailor

January 31, 2018 / lalacapellmeister / Recordings for Practice

Ralph Vaughan Williams’ arrangement of ‘The Dark Eyed Sailor’ from Five English Folksongs. It’s described as a cappella, SATB, but as usual Williams doubles various parts here and there. At this point, I have only separated the upper and lower bass parts, but it looks like I should split out the upper and lower sopranos, too. Will do so.
