Haydn: Sanctus from Missa Brevis

September 28, 2017 / lalacapellmeister / Recordings for Practice
0

The Sanctus from Missa Brevis Sancti Joannis de Deo. There are four parts with piano accompaniment. The tempo is allegro, as written. The dynamics are classical dynamics: forte or piano. This piece is in 6/8, beat in two; a dotted quarter note is one count. I have recorded the “all parts” version at concert tempo: dotted quarter note = 80. I recorded the individual parts at a much slower speed: dotted quarter = 50. If this is too slow for the honor students, let me know…

All parts (concert tempo)
